End the Ban!” Maryland Votes For Animals, Inc. was proud to rally with advocates, inspiring speakers, and adorable pit bulls at the Prince George’s County/District of Columbia line to end the pit bull ban in Prince George’s County. Breed discrimination is unfair, unscientific, and unacceptable.
Prince George’s County is one of the two largest counties in the US, the other being Miami-Dade County in Florida, to ban the ownership of pit bulls. No other county in Maryland has a prohibition discriminating against these members of the family. It’s time to make all of the counties in Maryland welcome to all breeds of dogs.
