SB122 prohibits a person from leaving a dog outside and unattended for longer than 30 minutes without access to suitable shelter during extreme weather (below 32 degrees in the winter and above 90 degrees in the summer). This is a common sense bill that puts meaningful standards into our animal cruelty laws, ensuring that dogs can get the shelter they need before they suffer injury or death. The companion bill in the House, HB81, is moving with bipartisan support but the Senate committee is mired in debate on the bill.  Please contact your Senators TODAY and urge them to vote YES on SB122!
